Savvy N Sassy will be looking for FIVE energetic and creative designers who love ribbon to join our design team!

If you are interested in receving a new and exciting ribbon card in the mail each month filled with beautiful designs and colors then this call is for you!

Each month you will receive our Ribbon Kit of the Month in the mail. In turn, you will provide for us three projects/layouts to showcase in our gallery. These items created are not sole property of Savvy N Sassy. You will be able to post them in other online galleries, blogs, submissions etc. The only stipulation we ask is that you just add in the "ribbon provided by Savvy N Sassy" phrase when sharing your layouts.

Design Team members will receive a discount on stock in store and free shipping on purchases with each months kit.

(as long as they are lettermail, larger items will be charged extra )

As a design team member, we are seeking individuals who are interested in bonding with the team as a whole, have time to post and upload layouts to share and inspire with everyone on a regular basis.

If you are interested and believe you would be a fit for our team then please submit the following:

-- three projects or layouts showcasing your use of ribbon

-- small bio about yourself including email and snail mail address

-- list of any other design teams you are on

-- please acknowledge how much time you are comfortable with

to devote to SNS each month

Term begins July 1st, 2007 and runs until January 2008

Prizes

1st place – Win a Savvy N Sassy Ribbon Kit for ONE year…that’s 12 fabulous kits – one arriving at your house each month!!

2nd place – Four ribbon kits of your choice (choices dependant on availability in the store upon completion of contest and sent at one time only)

3rd place -- Three ribbon kits of your choice (choices dependant on availability in the store upon completion of contest and sent at one time only)

How can you win…?

First you must register at Savvy N Sassy (www.savvynsassy.com) and have a minimum of 10 posts to enter the contest. Sign up at the official sign in thread….and let the games begin!

It will be a six week contest…one assignment given at the beginning of each week. There will be no eliminations, no one kicked off the island, no hurt feelings….if you compete in all six weeks you are in the running to win one of the three prizes!

The only rules are:

-- assignments must be uploaded by the time specified. If you miss out on the time, you are no longer eligible to win the contest.

-- all assignments must meet the posted requirements

-- basically just have fun! How do you win?

-- keep playing all six weeks

I Kiss YOU Canvas

Last month I was inspired by Designer Diaries Blog. There was a Canvas challange posted there that caught my attention right away!

The challange was to create a meaningful, lasting gift for our loved ones. A altered Canvas for someone special in our lives. The perfect gift, which carries meaning, is easily displayed and handmade.

Be sure to check out Designer Diaries Blog! They have great challanges, sketches, contests and prizes. Lots of information including product reviews, techniques. A all around great source of inspiration for you!

I choose to create a 8x8 Canvas of me and my son Dumitru. I cropped the photo, changed the color to black and white and softened the edges!

Supplies: Savvy n Sassy Ribbon ( Rhinestone Cord Edge ), 8x8 Canvas , ZZ paper Kit (Autum Leaves pp, ZZ crochet flowers, 7 gypsies phtoto Turns), MM Velvet Stickers, HS Chipboard alphas, Bazzill Blossoms, MM rhinestone brads, MM paint, Magistical Memories arrow, Mod Podge, Glue Dots.
